About Sam
Sam Hoefs is an associate attorney in the Minneapolis office of Nigh Goldenberg Raso & Vaughn. She represents survivors of sexual assault and child sexual abuse, victims of terrorism, and those injured by pharmaceuticals and consumer products in complex litigation. Sam takes a trauma-informed approach to promote her clients’ wellbeing while seeking accountability. She received her J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, magna cum laude, and a B.A. in Philosophy from Hamline University, magna cum laude. During law school, she represented a plaintiff-appellant in a civil rights case before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. After graduating, Sam clerked for two judges in Minnesota’s Fourth Judicial District Court before joining NGRV in 2023.
