A North Carolina native from Wilmington, she earned her B.S. in Human Development and Family Science from East Carolina University and her J.D., cum laude, from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2023. In law school, Shannon was active in the student bar association, International Law Society, and served as a Judicial Clerk. She earned a certificate of excellence for juvenile representation and an honors distinction in Pro Bono Service. She has diverse internship experience in personal injury, family law, and criminal law. In her free time, Shannon enjoys family and friends, cooking, and traveling.
