About Simran

Simran Rahi is an experienced trial attorney and litigation partner with Portner & Shure. He represents clients in personal injury (motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice) and criminal defense in state and federal courts in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. He has tried numerous civil jury trials and over 100 bench trials. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a trial attorney for GEICO and a regional boutique defense law firm, defending bodily injury lawsuits. He also worked at one of the top 250 largest law firms in the U.S. Mr. Rahi uses his insurance and defense insight to benefit injured clients. He is a D.C. metropolitan native, received his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from George Mason University, and his law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law where he was Legislative Editor on the Journal of Energy, Climate and the Environment. He has been named a certified lifetime member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
