About Suzanne

Suzanne Dennis is a partner at Wolter, Beeman & Lynch, bringing nearly three decades of legal expertise. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1994 and a bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from Eastern Illinois University in 1991. Her career includes eight years as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois, representing the state in civil litigation and defending workers’ compensation claims. She also served as an educator in the Legal Studies Department at the University of Illinois at Springfield for over a decade, where she coached a mock trial team and advised pre-law students. Suzanne is affiliated with the Sangamon County Bar Association and admitted to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Her practice focuses on workers’ compensation and personal injury cases. She is also actively involved in the Springfield community, having served as President of the Central Illinois Women’s Bar Association, the Junior League of Springfield, and the Springfield High School Booster Club, and as a mentor for various programs.
