About Sydnee
Sydnee Sousa is an Associate Attorney at Sousa Law, LLC, joining in the fall of 2022. She is dedicated to advocating for injured workers under Connecticut law, ensuring they receive full medical treatment and benefits. Her journey with the firm began as a Summer Associate in 2020, and she previously worked as a paralegal. After her summer associate role, she served as a legal research law clerk for the Connecticut Superior Courts. She graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2021, where she was the Online Publication Editor of the Connecticut Law Review. She also interned with the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities and served as a law clerk for Senator Richard Blumenthal's Judiciary Committee. Her student note on Connecticut Workers' Compensation Coverage for Medical Cannabis was published in the Connecticut Law Review.
