About Tamara

Tamara Patterson is an associate at EMWN and part of the firm’s estate planning team, dedicated to providing compassionate and effective legal counsel in estate planning and probate administration. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida in 2000 and earned her master’s degree magna cum laude from St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary in 2005. She obtained her Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2017, where she was on the editorial board for the Kentucky Law Journal. Prior to EMWN, she gained experience in employment law, estate planning, and civil litigation. She served as chair, vice-chair, and treasurer of the KBA’s Labor and Employment Law Section. Tamara has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star from 2019-2025, and by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America in 2025. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky and is an active member of the Kentucky Bar Association.
