Theodore Briscoe is no stranger to court appearances, having represented over 2,000 clients throughout the state of Virginia. With over 6 years of experience in criminal trials, he prides himself on his ability to advocate on behalf of others. Originally from Baltimore, Theodore now lives in the hustle and bustle of downtown Richmond. During his time at Ithaca College, Theodore studied abroad in China, Morocco, and Spain while earning his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and International Business. He decided to attend William and Mary Law School, where he was one of 3 students selected to be published in the William and Mary Business Law Review. During his time as a law student, he interned at the prosecutor's offices and through a legal aid clinic, further diversifying his experiences. Having made court appearances throughout Virginia; from Richmond, to the greater Fredericksburg area, to Northern Virginia, Theodore has been able to acquire an advanced set of skills. Known by his friends and family as a man who will fight for what he believes in, Theodore quickly became fascinated by the complexities surrounding trial work. His main areas of practice are based on jury trials, and 'that's something I would never change,' he says. Captivated by the intensity brought about by jury trials, Theodore admires the level of concentration, the need for pure instinct, and the level of preparation that each trial demands of him. 'I am proud of my ability to successfully win against lawyers who have been practicing longer than I have been alive,' says Theodore. When not advocating for others, Theodore enjoys spending his free time appreciating cars, specifically Formula 1 races, or you can find him cheering on his favorite team, the Ravens. He continues to advance his knowledge by studying social psychology to help him firmly understand and better relate to juries.
