About Thomas
Thomas C. Crumplar, co-founder of Jacobs & Crumplar, P.A., is a seasoned personal injury attorney. He graduated from the University of Michigan (Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, 1971) and the University of Virginia School of Law (1975), where he developed the university's patent policy and authored law review articles. After clerking for Federal Judge John T. Copenhaver and a brief stint in corporate law, he co-founded Jacobs & Crumplar in 1981. He is admitted to practice in Delaware and New Jersey. Crumplar is known for securing significant verdicts, including the second highest personal injury verdict in U.S. history for an asbestos case ($75 million in 1988) and the largest award against an individual church in U.S. history for a sexual abuse case (over $30 million in 2010).
