About Tia

Having been born and raised in Lahaina, Tia’s heart and roots are deeply embedded in Lahaina and her community. As a local business owner, community leader, mother, and a woman for her people, Tia has joined the HECO Lawsuit team to lend support and guidance to her many friends and family who lost everything in the Maui fires. Tia strives to serve as a bridge of support wherever she is needed. I decided to join the HECO Lawsuit team because I had a deep calling in my heart to help serve our families and our community in the immediate relief and be here for the families for the long journey ahead. Teaming up with a Maui resident and attorney, Jan Apo and his team gave me the assurance that my own family that was affected and our community would have local representation and a team on-island that not only had the heart to fight for them but that would be here for the long journey ahead. HECO Lawsuit will be here for their clients and will not leave until the last reward is completed.
