About Vanessa

Vanessa E. Iglesias is a general practice attorney at Wilson, Reives & Doran, with a strong interest in immigration law. A Sanford native and daughter of immigrants from El Salvador and Mexico, her personal experience drives her passion for helping others, especially the Hispanic community. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. She started as a legal assistant in her teens, earned her diploma, and graduated from Fayetteville State University with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology. She later earned a law degree from North Carolina Central University. Her practice areas include family law and divorce, domestic violence, criminal defense litigation, and immigration. She joined WRD in 2018 as a legal administrative assistant.
