For nearly 40 years, Ven Johnson has been going toe-to-toe against insurance giants, corporate behemoths, and government monoliths-and winning big on behalf of his clients in courtrooms across the country. As a plaintiff’s personal injury attorney, Ven represents victims in both state and federal courts, specializing in civil rights, police misconduct, product liability, trucking and automobile negligence, premises liability, medical malpractice cases and more. Over the course of his career, Ven has achieved national recognition and solidified a reputation as one of America’s fiercest trial lawyers. His remarkable track record includes more than $1.5 billion in jury verdicts and settlements, with 30+ verdicts in excess of $1 million and multiple decisions ranging from $10 million to almost $25 million. He graduated from Kalamazoo College in 1983 and University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1986. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Michigan Association for Justice, State Bar of Michigan, and Detroit Bar Association. He has received numerous awards including Inner Circle of Advocates Inductee, Michigan Lawyers Weekly Hall of Fame, and Super Lawyers.
