About Zachary
As a Pennsylvania personal injury lawyer, Zachary D. Campbell advocates for his clients with the utmost care and concern. Mr. Campbell joined Metzger Wickersham in 2010 and specializes in litigation for the firm. Mr. Campbell’s work style is thorough and communicative. He uses his years of experience to successfully and smoothly guide his injured clients through their lawsuits from start to finish. Mr. Campbell’s goal is to make sure his clients not only have trusted legal counsel but also a shoulder to lean on in their time of need. Throughout his career, Mr. Campbell has handled all aspects of legal proceedings including multiple jury trials, mediations, arbitrations, depositions, oral arguments, hearings, and court conferences in a wide range of personal injury cases. He has worked in all phases of trial practice concentrating in the fields of automobile litigation, tractor-trailer litigation, premises liability, products liability, nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, and workers’ compensation. Mr. Campbell has practiced throughout the state of Pennsylvania and has represented clients in over 30 different counties. He has extensive experience in Federal Court, particularly in the Middle District of Pennsylvania’s Bankruptcy Court, where he has vigorously fought for his clients against Defendants seeking to evade responsibility for the injuries they have caused. Early in his career, Mr. Campbell represented the family of an elderly woman with dementia who was left unattended at a skilled nursing facility. Unfortunately, she was able to wander from the facility despite strict orders that she be monitored given her condition. Tragically, she was found dead not far from the facility after she had fallen. The facility did not discover she was missing until after she was found dead. Mr. Campbell pursued the facility and discovered it had a history of allowing patients to wander from the facility unattended but had not taken any steps to prevent this. Mr. Campbell was not only able to secure a six-figure settlement for the family, but he also was able to bring to light the poor conditions at the facility. Shortly after pursuing the claim, the nursing facility was permanently closed, ensuring that this would not happen to anyone else. Mr. Campbell has a track record of proven results, as displayed by his membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum®, an organization in which membership is “limited to trial lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional skill, experience, and excellence in advocacy by achieving a trial verdict, award, or settlement in the amount of one million dollars or more.” Less than 1% of all U.S. attorneys are members. A native of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Mr. Campbell resides with his wife, Cara, and two sons. He is an avid reader, which he believes keeps him balanced and inspired. He enjoys reading many different types of genres from fiction to non-fiction. By doing so, he believes he not only enriches his personal life but also enhances his professional capabilities, enabling him to tackle legal challenges with a well-rounded perspective.
