Case Details
A 59-year-old female underwent an orbital decompression procedure to alleviate symptoms of Graves’ Disease in her left eye. During the procedure, the surgeon removed too much bone behind our client’s eye, and Gelfoam used to stop bleeding was allowed to penetrate her cranial cavity. As a result, our client suffered a stroke and permanent neurological deficit.
