Case Details
Woody represented the Estate of a 67 year old Medicare patient who was being transported to her doctor’s office for a routine visit when the driver of the transport van ran off the roadway, collided into a tree, and caused the instant death of the passenger. Initially, the transport company denied responsibility, then claimed it had no coverage, which was a condition of the license it held from the State of North Carolina to provide such services. Woody was undaunted in his efforts to help the heirs of this much-loved grandmother, and eventually succeeded in holding the company responsible.
