Case Details
A jury awarded $875,000 to Carole Gustitus, a Kingston woman, after a doctor negligently misinterpreted her mammogram in 1998, causing a delay in diagnosing her breast cancer which progressed from stage one to stage two.
Additional Notes
Paul Lauricella, with The Beasley Firm in Philadelphia, told the jury that Gustitus, now 66, felt a lump in her right breast in 1998. Delay damages could increase the total verdict to over $1.1 million.
