In December 2009, Jessica Lane, driving while intoxicated and distracted by a cell phone, failed to stop at an intersection, causing an accident that killed 22-year-old Derrick Rosado and severely injured three other occupants. Lane plead guilty to vehicular homicide and aggravated assault.
