Additional Notes
This case involved a worker who was employed by an electrical services company who was injured on the job on May 11th, 2011. He was working on an electrical panel which exploded causing burns to his upper body and face. Specifically, he sustained 2nd degree burns to his face and 3rd degree burns to his left and right arm and hands. The injuries sustained by the electrical worker were severe and disfiguring, preventing him from returning to employment with his employer at the time, working in the same employment capacity for some other employer and for the same salary as he used to earn. Although this workman’s compensation case remained active for over a 9 year period of time, through the efforts of Sokoloff & Weinstein, P.A.’s “Of-Counsel” for workman’s compensation matters, it successfully concluded on August 19th, 2020, with a substantial $475,000.00 settlement.
