Successfully tried to verdict this medical malpractice case against a number of defendant doctors. The client suffered loss of vision in her right eye after her blood levels were not properly monitored following surgery in the hospital and after she was release to home health care despite being prescribed and administrated Coumadin, a well known blood-thinning medication that must be monitored closely to avoid complications.

(Fulton County Georgia State Court) After a two week trial, the jury awarded damages to the clients in the amount of $5,500,000. This was Mr. Fleming's first trial as lead counsel in a medical malpractice case. Defendants made no offer of settlement prior to trial.
