Successfully appealed a trial court verdict in Kinseth v. Weil-McLain, et al. Plaintiff had been awarded $4 million in compensatory damages and $2.5 million in punitive damages. The Supreme Court of Iowa reversed and remanded the case for a new trial due to improper closing statements by plaintiffs’ counsel and trial court errors.
