Case Details
In April 2015, Harry, a 55-year-old factory worker, was riding his motorcycle to work when a careless driver pulled out from a side street and hit him. He suffered from a shattered pelvis, fractured vertebra, numerous internal injuries, and his calf muscle was partially torn off. Harry was unable to return to work because of his injuries. His $550,000 in medical bills were all covered by his wife’s health insurance plan. We waited for Harry to make a relatively full recovery before filing a lawsuit and trying to settle his case. We were able to settle Harry’s case for $1,500,000, none of which will have to go toward medical bills, so that Harry and his wife can resume their normal lives even though Harry isn’t working anymore.
