Case Details
Jose was a 32 year old laborer who slipped off a roof during a building renovation he was a part of. His employer and the property owner were both very insistent that the roofing be completed on the day of his fall despite the fact that the weather was quite bad and ice had accrued on the roof. Jose broke his ankle, knee, and wrist, with each injury requiring surgical repair. We forced Jose’s employer to accept his Worker’s Compensation claim, and pursued a claim against the pushy property owner. This case settled for $570,000 and Jose’s Worker’s Compensation claim will remain open with additional bills being paid until he chooses to close it.
Additional Notes
