Earl Scherrer, a 36-year-old man with traumatic brain injury, died after ingesting foreign objects due to neglect at Liberty Manor Residency, an assisted living facility. The verdict included $2 million for the decedent, $5 million for the wife, and $4 million in punitive damages. Knapp & Roberts represented the plaintiff’s case.

Auto Accident

Mark Dupray was severely injured in a drunk driving collision by an intoxicated driver who was over-served at a strip club. Mark suffered severe neck, back, and arm injuries. The jury awarded $5.4 million from the strip club and $2.5 million from the driver.
