Gregory S. Young

Gregory S. Young is an attorney specializing in personal injury cases, including dog bites, car accidents, motorcycle accidents, and fall down injuries. Michele L. Young

Michele Young is a highly awarded attorney, recognized as a 2024 USA Today Ohio Woman of the Year and 2020 Cincinnati Enquirer Woman of the Year. A Georgetown University Law Center graduate, former adjunct law professor, and federal judicial law clerk, she is known for her innovative, diligent, and compassionate approach to law. She has spearheaded successful public interest campaigns, including advocating for early breast cancer screening and securing justice for victims of bullying. She also led efforts to free Tyra Patterson and supports various community initiatives.

David M. Chester

Attorney David M. Chester has been a personal injury lawyer in Ohio for most of his legal career. After suffering a childhood injury at the hands of a careless driver, Attorney Chester understood the suffering that an injured victim endures. When he decided to become a lawyer, representing injured Ohioans was the obvious choice. From a single office, David built a law firm with 16 offices located in Akron, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Youngstown, and surrounding areas. After winning numerous law school awards, he finished in the top 3% on the Ohio Bar exam. He then moved from his home in Parma, Ohio south to Akron, Ohio where he established his main office. Attorney Chester is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and the Northern District of Ohio Federal Courts, and he is a member of the Ohio Association of Justice, a group of Ohio trial lawyers dedicated to fighting for the rights of injured Ohioans. Attorney Chester lives in Northeast Ohio where he enjoys movies, going to sporting events, swimming, and racketball.

C. Joseph McCullough

After graduating from law school and passing the Ohio Bar, Joe joined the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, assigned to the Civil Division. Rather than handling criminal matters for the Prosecutor’s Office, he represented Hamilton County, its elected officials, and employees in civil lawsuits filed against the County, both in State and Federal Court. In 2001, Joe served as in-house counsel for Sheriff Simon L. Leis and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. While he enjoyed the opportunity to experience the practice of law from a completely different perspective, Joe missed being in the courtroom and the experiences associated with being a trial lawyer. Joe joined White, Getgey & Meyer in 2002. Back in the courtroom and working at one of the area’s premier civil litigation firms, Joe found the perfect opportunity. While his practice has transitioned from the public to the private sector and grown substantially over the years, Joe still finds himself enjoying litigation and the courtroom environment now more than ever. “The most satisfying part of it all is helping clients, both individuals and businesses, navigate difficult times but finding resolution through aggressive, efficient and practical solutions. The courtroom is the last place any client wants to be, but when the need arises, I am pleased to be trusted with the opportunity to help.” After starting at WGM as an Associate in 2002, Joe became a Partner in 2007. As his practice expanded and continued to grow, he became more involved in the firm’s leadership, taking on an expanded administrative role while maintaining a robust, active caseload. In 2019, Joe became the firm’s third Managing Partner in almost 60 years, following in the footsteps of Alvin E. White and David P. Kamp. On a personal level, Joe and his wife, Shannon, are the proud parents of six wonderful children: Jack, Sam, Will, Charlie, Andie and Grant. They are members of St. Columban Church, and their children attend Northern Kentucky University College of Law, Davidson College, University of Cincinnati, Mount Notre Dame High School, and Moeller High School. Joe frequently jokes about being a legend in his own mind. He'll proudly tell anyone that will listen that he skipped first grade and played Division I college football. But he'll also be the first to admit that those feats pale in comparison to his greatest lifetime achievement - convincing Shannon to marry him 25+ years ago and then having the privilege to raise, with Shannon's help of course, the six little (now big) miracles that God has given them. Now, Shannon and Joe spend what very little free time they have, trying to figure out a way to stop time in its tracks.

Christopher L. Wesner

Before becoming an attorney, Chris Wesner worked as a physical therapist for 18 years, witnessing the impact of personal injury and neglect. Thomas Haskins

Attorney Thomas F. Haskins hails from Barberton, Ohio, and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron graduating with Magna cum laude honors. Tom stayed at the University of Akron for law school where he was the Law Review Articles Editor and also co-chaired the International Law Symposium. During law school, Attorney Haskins worked as a paralegal for a local law firm. Tom has been licensed to practice law since 1976 and since then has been involved in his own litigation practice. Attorney Haskins began working with the Chester Law Group as litigation co-counsel and general counsel in 1999. Attorney Haskins is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio, The United States Federal Court Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, United States Bankruptcy Court Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, The United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and The United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Akron Bar Association and the American Bar Association as well as the Ohio Association for Justice. Tom also serves on numerous committees including the Common Pleas Court Committee and Lawyers Assistance Committee. Thomas is a personal injury attorney with work including motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, and construction accidents. Thomas Haskins has devoted his career to helping injured victims. Tom enjoys fishing, travel and spending time with his wife Elizabeth, his three children, and grandchildren.
