Phillip G. Vermont
Phillip joined the firm in 1989 as a litigator. He handles real estate and business litigation, personal injury, product’s liability and construction law. He is bilingual, with French as his first language. His proficiency in French and English has allowed him to advise numerous foreign clients, in particular, those of French ancestry. A large part of his practice is the litigation of complex landlord-tenant disputes primarily on behalf of commercial property owners and property managers. He developed the firm’s Unlawful Detainer Single Fee Program to better serve property owners. He has tried and/or resolved over 1,000 eviction and lease dispute actions. He also advises property owners and managers on issues related to real estate including property line disputes, disclosures, partition cases arising from joint ownership, purchase and sale contracts and residential lease disputes. Christi Raimondi
Christi has worked at the firm since 2006 and has experience handling a variety of matters including intellectual property, tax controversies, business transactions, trust and estate disputes and civil litigation. Christi advises individuals and businesses on all aspects of intellectual property including brand creation, trademark and copyright registration and policing of their trademark and copyright portfolios in the U.S. and more than 30 different countries. She has prosecuted matters before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and litigated matters before the Trademark Trials and Appeals Board. Christi also assists individuals and businesses with their tax controversies, including audit defense and compliance with foreign financial reporting obligations. She also litigates trust and estate disputes including claims for breach of fiduciary duty, financial elder abuse, undue influence and incapacity. Christi takes the time to get to know her clients and their industry so she can tailor her approach to fit their specific needs. This insight allows her to identify other areas where she can provide guidance and minimize the risk of future disputes and expensive litigation. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Christi worked for the Department of Justice, Antitrust Division and several other law firms which exposed her to a variety of areas of law including estate planning and probate, construction defect litigation, medical malpractice and civil litigation.

Robert A. Randick
Bob has been practicing law in the Bay Area for over 45 years. He began his career in 1969 as an antitrust litigation attorney for the Law Offices of Joseph L. Alioto in San Francisco. In 1971 he was one of the founding partners of Randick & O’Dea, an Oakland civil practice and business litigation firm (formerly Spinetta, Randick & O’Dea). He and partner Brian O’Dea relocated their practice to the Tri-Valley in 2000. Bob’s experience encompasses a wide range of practice areas. Hannah Sargent
Hannah Halverson Sargent is a trust, probate and estate planning attorney and east bay native who practices law from her hometown of Castro Valley, CA. Nickolas P. Tooliatos
MAJOR GENERAL, UNITED STATES ARMY RETIRED Nick started his career as a Tax Attorney with Touche Ross & Company (now Deloitte), a major international accounting and consulting firm. He did extensive individual, corporate, and estate tax planning for owners and key executives in start-up high-tech companies. Since joining the firm in 1987, his practice has emphasized individual, partnership, and corporate taxation, estate planning, probate and business law and planning. He is a Certified Specialist in Probate, Estate Planning and Trust Law. He has worked extensively with emerging closely-held businesses in the Silicon Valley, dealing with matters ranging from choice of business form, compensation and capitalization to the intricacies of tax planning. He has extensive experience in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, exchanges and leases. Nick limits his litigation to complex civil and criminal tax matters and probate and trust issues. Over the past thirty years, he has tried and settled several cases saving taxpayers in excess of $30 million.
Brian M. O'Dea
Brian is a native of the Bay Area. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1970 and joined the Law Offices of Joseph L. Alioto in San Francisco as an antitrust litigator. From 1972 until the merger on January 1, 2000, Brian was a partner in the Oakland firm of Randick & O’Dea (formerly Spinetta Randick & O’Dea). Brian’s experience encompasses a wide spectrum of practice areas in his representation of small to medium sized businesses. He has handled numerous real estate and business transactions for his clients, as well as representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of commercial litigation specialties, including employment, real estate, contract and franchise disputes. He has extensive jury trial experience in matters involving real estate, fraud and other business torts.

Darrin Ng
Darrin joined the firm in July 2018. He started his career working with a bankruptcy and business litigation attorney. From there, Darrin joined a firm where he dealt with real estate and bankruptcy matters and developed an estate planning practice. Darrin then joined the Alameda County Superior Court as a probate examiner to broaden his probate knowledge and experience. Most recently, prior to joining Randick O’Dea & Tooliatos, Darrin was an associate at a San Francisco estate planning firm, where he worked on estate planning, trust and estate administration, and private foundation matters. Darrin brings his diverse background to the firm where he now focuses on tax, trust and estate, and probate matters. Darrin’s practice involves advising clients regarding family wealth transfer and tax planning techniques to address their goals and needs, tax controversy matters with the IRS and Franchise Tax Board, and trust and estate administration.
