William D. Thompson

Joseph A. O'Brien

Joseph A. O'Brien graduated from Georgetown University with an A.B. in 1967 and Seton Hall University with a J.D., cum laude, in 1975. He was admitted to the Bar in 1975. Jack Price

A native of Dunmore, Jack Price graduated from Dunmore High School in 2004 and attended The Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from The Smeal College of Business. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law, graduating cum laude. Following law school, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable James A. Gibbons in the Lackawanna County Court of Common Pleas. In 2016, Mr. Price joined the Lackawanna County District Attorney’s Office where he served as a Deputy District Attorney. While at the District Attorney’s Office, Attorney Price was a member of the Special Victim Unit and conducted multiple jury trials to verdict. Attorney Price also handled cases in the state appellate courts, and successfully argued before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court on a matter of first impression in the Commonwealth. He is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States Middle District of Pennsylvania. Aside from his work with the District Attorney’s Office, Attorney Price is active in the Lackawanna Bar Association and served as President of the Young Lawyer’s Division in 2017. Attorney Price joined the firm in 2020 and concentrates his practice on business and civil litigation, personal injury law, criminal defense, and municipal law.

Jane M. Carlonas

Jane M. Carlonas is a 1988 graduate of the University of Scranton and received her Juris Doctorate Degree from Duquesne University School of Law, Pittsburgh, PA in 1991. She is an active member of the Lackawanna Bar Association and served as President of the Association in 2012. Her community involvement includes currently serving as a Board Member at Scranton Primary Healthcare Center, St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen, a member of the Advisory Panel for Hospice of the Sacred Heart, past Board Member and Co-President of St. Joseph’s Center Auxiliary and a former member of the Board of Directors of Susan G. Komen Foundation where she served as Chairperson of the Race for the Cure (2000); Scranton Counseling Center, Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce and Northeast Regional Cancer Institute. Attorney Carlonas concentrates her practice primarily in the areas of real estate and estate planning.

James J. Gillotti

James J. Gillotti was admitted to the practice of law in Pennsylvania in 1979. After completing a one-year judicial clerkship, he has been in private practice in Lackawanna County since 1980. In 2012, Mr. Gillotti was certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF), the only organization authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to certify Pennsylvania attorneys in Elder Law. The certification is currently held by less than seventy (70) lawyers in the entire state. He was re-certified by NELF in 2017. Atty. Gillotti is the Chairman of the Elder Law Committee of the Lackawanna Bar Association. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Elder Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He has given numerous presentations on Estate Planning and Elder Law topics. Mr. Gillotti’s practice is concentrated in Estate Planning, Medicaid eligibility, asset protection, estate and trust administration, Special Needs Planning, and Real Estate. A native of Carbondale, Atty. Gillotti is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Scranton. He received his law degree from the Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle in 1979.

Alfred J. Weinschenk

Alfred J. Weinschenk has over forty years of business law practice, with extensive experience in the purchase and sale of business entities. He concentrates his practice in commercial and corporate transactions, business financing, and oil and gas leasing. Mr. Weinschenk graduated from the University of Scranton with a B.S. in 1969 and a M.B.A. in 1973. He received his J.D. from Seton Hall University in 1976. He is a member of the Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, and American Bar Association and is a member of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Weinschenk is a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and served twenty seven years in the U.S. Navy Reserve, retiring with the rank of Captain. He serves on the Veteran’s Committee of the Lackawanna County Bar Association. He is the solicitor for Clarks Green Borough and the Roaring Brook Township Sewer Authority.
