Josh Whitaker is one of the founding partners of Whitaker & Hamer, PLLC, with over 20 years of experience in real estate law. Aaron C. Low graduated from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in 2003, and joined the firm in 2021. Aaron is married with three beautiful children, who are the pride of his life. Aaron is also a dedicated Christian and gives glory to God in his representation of his clients and his personal life. Aaron has been practicing in the field of civil litigation since graduating law school in 2003, handling a variety of cases, ranging from personal injury to property disputes to contract litigation. Daniel came to the United States from Peru when he was five years old and settled down in West Orange, New Jersey. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from William Paterson University in Political Science. Daniel started his legal career with a personal injury firm in New Jersey for a period of 10 years where he helped clients obtain justice for their injuries during some of their most difficult times. It was during this time period that he decided to continue his education and pursue his dream of becoming an attorney. Daniel is a dedicated litigation paralegal specializing in personal injury law. With a strong commitment to advocating for those in need, Daniel is currently furthering his legal education at NCCU School of Law. He has chosen to focus on personal injury law as a means to profoundly impact people's lives during their most challenging times. Joseph T. Hamer

Joe Hamer is a partner at Whitaker & Hamer, PLLC, where he has been serving clients since the spring of 2013. Born and raised in Clayton, North Carolina, Joe continues to live there with his wife Lindsey and four children-Kamryn, Grover, Vinson, and Magnolia-on his family’s farm that has been in his family since the 1800s. The new Clayton office is even located in the childhood home of his great cousins, reflecting Joe’s deep roots in the community. A standout student and athlete, Joe played basketball and football during high school. He graduated as valedictorian from Barton College in 2008, where he was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, before attending the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University. Joe passed the bar in 2011, all while navigating the challenges of being a new father, with his daughter Kamryn born that same year. Joe is a die-hard Duke University and Carolina Panthers fan, staying loyal regardless of their records, and also enjoys rooting for the Carolina Hurricanes. Outside of his legal practice, he loves playing basketball, watching Duke sports, and riding his four-wheeler on his family’s farm.

Ashley Pinner is a North Carolina native. She currently resides in the greater Garner/Raleigh area with her family. She joined McCullers, Whitaker, & Hamer, now Whitaker & Hamer, in 2014, and has been an amazing addition to the firm both professionally and personally. Ashley is a proud N.C. State University alumna, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian of her class, and earning her Bachelor’s in Political Science in 2008. After taking two years off to work as a legal assistant for a local private practice, she attended Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, graduating Cum Laude in 2013. Ashley is a dedicated attorney able to assist with your estate planning or real estate needs; she is also a full-time mother to her daughter, as well as Col. Cuddles, her loyal pug companion, and Gertrude the Great (“Gertie”), her vociferous German Shepherd protector.
