Daniel D. Bodell

Daniel D. Bodell is a founding member of the firm and an experienced San Diego Employment Lawyer. He has extensive legal experience in the negotiation, settlement, litigation and trial of various types of legal matters including employment cases and serious personal injury claims. He was honored as 'Best of the Bar' by the San Diego Business Journal and selected as a Super Lawyer for five consecutive years. Prior to founding the firm, he was a partner at Gordon & Rees LLP.

Steven A. Elia established Elia Law Firm in 2001. Since then, he has focused on plaintiff’s personal injury, civil litigation and business transactional matters. Mr. Elia has handled over 1,000 personal injury cases, obtaining excellent results. He has extensive litigation experience having appeared at more than 1,000 civil hearings including jury and bench trials, over 500 depositions, and hundreds of mediations. James C. Mitchell

Todd Carpenter

Todd D. Carpenter is a partner at Lynch Carpenter and the managing partner of the San Diego office. He specializes in consumer class action litigation, representing plaintiffs in unfair business practices, false advertising, product liability, and anti-trust violations. He has represented plaintiffs in numerous class action proceedings in state and federal courts, securing multi-million dollar settlements, including over $50 million in recovered fees in overdraft litigation and a $1.8 million deal with Southwest Airlines. He has also recovered millions for California consumers in food and supplement product cases.

Matthew E. Palmer

Matthew E. Palmer is the managing attorney and principal of Palmer Rodak & Associates and is a Certified Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Matthew has served as a Pro Tem Judge at the Superior Court in Vista since 2003 and is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the North County Bar Association, and the North County Certified Family Law Specialist group. Matthew has extensive experience in family law and general civil litigation. Matthew's practice also includes probate, conservatorships, guardianships, estate planning, and drafting of wills and trusts. He has developed a successful civil litigation practice representing private individuals in various personal injury and other civil matters since in 1998. Matthew earned his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 1996 where he was awarded the prestigious American Jurisprudence award in Civil Procedure. Before law school, Matthew worked for several years in sales and management for a Fortune 500 company in the area of industrial plastic. Matthew graduated from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut, with a Bachelor of Arts in History, with an emphasis on European History. As a student, Matthew was the aide to the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives of Connecticut in 1990. Matthew has a third-degree black belt in Soo Bahk Doo Mu Duk Kwan, traditional Korean Karate, and has trained in the martial arts for 24 years. Matthew also enjoys practicing hot yoga and spending time on the beach with his family.

Gary Lynch

Gary F. Lynch is a founding partner of Lynch Carpenter, with over thirty years of experience representing plaintiffs in employment and consumer lawsuits. He has a national practice focusing on employee wage rights, consumer protection, and data breach and cybersecurity. He has argued in numerous federal and state courts, handled over 100 class actions, and achieved multi-million-dollar recoveries. He served as Counsel of Record in the U.S. Supreme Court case Symczyk v. Genesis and successfully argued before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in Dittman v. UPMC, establishing a common law duty to protect electronically-stored personal information. He has been appointed to leadership positions in major data breach cases, including Co-lead Counsel for financial institution plaintiffs in the Equifax and Home Depot data breach litigations, and on the Executive Committee for the Target data breach litigation. He was also appointed Co-Lead Class Counsel in Re: Zillow Group, Inc. Session Replay Software Litigation. He is a frequent lecturer on class litigation, cybersecurity, and wage issues.

Kelly K. Iverson

Kelly Iverson is a partner and Managing Partner of Operations at Lynch Carpenter, specializing in complex litigation, mass torts, personal injury, products liability, and class action lawsuits. She has been appointed to leadership positions in national litigation, including Co-Lead Counsel in the Philips Recalled CPAP MDL, TMX Finance Corporate Services, Inc. Data Breach Class Litigation, and In re: Erie Covid-19 Business Interruption Protection Ins. Litig. She was integral to the Philips CPAP case settlement of over $1.6 billion. She is recognized for her thought leadership and has received awards such as Distinguished Leader Award from The Legal Intelligencer and Super Lawyers recognition.
