Barry D. Epstein

Barry D. Epstein was born in New York, New York, on October 27, 1940. After being admitted to the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Federal District Court for the State of New Jersey in October 1965, he has engaged in private practice with an emphasis in the areas of civil litigation. During the past sixty years, he has represented various victims in matters including medical malpractice, products liability, and personal injury claims. He has also handled numerous real estate and business transactions and employment matters as they relate to litigation. Mr. Epstein was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 1971 and the United States Tax Court in 1983, the Third Court of Appeals in 2007 and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in 2012. Mr. Epstein received his B.A. from Clark University in 1962, and his J.D. from Rutgers University in 1965. He has lectured on various topics and has been designated as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey since 1984. He is a faculty member of the Institute of Continuing Legal Education of the State of New Jersey and has participated in numerous ICLE programs. He has obtained a number of awards in excess of $1,000,000 and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Albert Buzzetti

Albert Louis Buzzetti is the founder and managing partner of Albert Buzzetti & Associates, L.L.C. He graduated from the University of Miami and Pace University School of Law in 1993. He served as a Judicial Law Clerk and gained extensive experience in personal injury, commercial litigation, and transactional matters before forming his own firm in 2003. He is fluent in Italian and conversational in Spanish.

Michael J. Epstein

Michael J. Epstein was born in Paterson, New Jersey, in 1970. He was admitted to the New Jersey bar in 1996, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, New York bar, and United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in 1997. Mr. Epstein received his B.A., summa cum laude, from Hamilton College in 1993, Phi Beta Kappa, and his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard University in 1996. After graduating from law school, he served as a law clerk to The Honorable Marie L. Garibaldi, New Jersey Supreme Court, from 1996-1997, and to The Honorable Alfred M. Wolin, United States District Court of New Jersey, from 1997-1998. He is a Certified Civil Trial Attorney and has been recognized for securing significant settlements, including a $10 million jury award in Voyez v. Preferred Home Health Care. He is a member of several legal organizations and has been named to the Super Lawyers list and Top 100 Super Lawyers list multiple times.

April M. Gilmore

April Gilmore has retired from the practice of law following a distinguished career as a trial attorney and partner at The Epstein Law Firm, P.A. She has been appointed to serve as a Judge of Workers’ Compensation in the State of New Jersey. She was admitted to the New Jersey bar in 1998 and the New York bar in 1999. Ms. Gilmore received her B.A. from Rutgers University in 1992, and her J.D. from Rutgers University Law School in 1998. She served as a law clerk to The Honorable Arthur D’Italia. She is a Certified Civil Trial Lawyer by the Supreme Court of NJ since 2012 and has been named to the New Jersey Super Lawyers list and Top 50 Women Super Lawyers list.

Nicholas G. Sekas

Nicholas G. Sekas was born and raised in New Jersey and was the child of Greek Immigrants. He graduated from Fordham University in 1982 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Marketing in Finance and went on to pursue his Juris Doctor degree from Pace Law, where he graduated in 1986. Nicholas has more than 34 years of total legal experience and has gained a reputation for his in depth knowledge, outstanding trial abilities and unwavering dedication to his clients’ needs and helping them achieve the positive outcomes they expect and deserve as efficiently as possible. Although Mr. Sekas devotes a majority of his time to managing the firm, his legal experience is broad and his client base continues to grow. He has represented a variety of clients from Fortune 500 Companies such as LG Electronics, to underprivileged members of society like Mamadou Soumare, a Bronx man who lost his family in a deadly fire. David Baumwoll

David Baumwoll is an experienced litigator and transactional attorney who is driven by a passion to serve clients and get them results. David focuses his practice on commercial litigation, general litigation, employment litigation, contract disputes, estates, and transactions such as real estate and business acquisitions. Mr. Baumwoll began his legal career as a prosecutor with the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, handling cases from intake through trial. He investigated and prosecuted matters ranging from DWIs and illegal gambling to human trafficking, gun trafficking, and police/corrections officer misconduct. Mr. Baumwoll then served as Associate Counsel in the New York City Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice (MOCJ). Prior to joining Porter Thomas Grabell & Baumwoll, Mr. Baumwoll worked as an Associate Attorney with the law firms of Gordon Rees, Martin Clearwater, and Strauss Law Offices, working on matters ranging from medical malpractice to products liability. As a civil litigator, Mr. Baumwoll has zealously represented clients at numerous depositions and mediations, successfully argued on behalf of clients during court hearings and trial proceedings and negotiated hundreds of favorable settlements and resolutions. Outside of the law, David was the co-founder of a GovTech company called Rep’d designed to enhance communication and responsiveness between city governments and the constituents they serve. David is also the co-founder and current Board President of the Student Movement Against Cancer (SMAC), Inc., an award-winning 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to “empower, encourage, and inspire the generation that ends cancer” and has raised millions of dollars for various cancer causes since its founding in 2001. Prior to law school, David also served as an elementary school teacher and basketball coach in Newark, New Jersey through Teach for America.

Steven M. Davis

Steven M. Davis works in the firm's general litigation department, handling business and commercial litigation, and plaintiff's personal injury matters. He graduated from Rutgers Law School and SUNY Albany. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, and to the U.S. District Court of New Jersey.
