He spent six years as a Staff Attorney for Legal Aid, advocating for the rights of clients in some of North Carolina’s most impoverished counties. His work to win legal protections for victims of domestic violence clients led him to become an Assistant District Attorney representing the State of North Carolina for two years before coming to work as a member Attorney with Stewart, Schmidlin, and Bullock PLLC and as an “Of-Counsel Attorney” with Martinez Law.

Anthony T. DelNero is a seasoned criminal defense attorney practicing in both State and Federal courts across North Carolina. His deep insight into the prosecution process stems from years at the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office, where he tried countless cases, including DWI, misdemeanors, felony probation violations, and major drug offenses. Originally from Endicott, NY, Anthony earned his J.D. from Albany Law School after completing a federal internship and working with the Albany County DA’s Office and Prisoner’s Legal Services of New York.
