Kent Lilly

Kent Lilly was born and raised in Lake Wales, Florida. He graduated from University of Florida with a degree in Accounting and then from law school at Florida State University. He then returned to Polk County where he has practiced law since 1977 in the area of Personal Injury/Wrongful Death law. Mr. Lilly is an AV Rated lawyer, the highest rating established by Martindale Hubbell, the agency which provides attorneys’ ratings throughout the United States. Andrew Bennett

Andrew Bennett is a trial attorney with a proven record of obtaining successful results for clients in various civil litigation types, including automobile collisions, wrongful death, and medical malpractice. He is a member of both the Florida and New York Bar. He started his legal career at Abrahamson & Uiterwyk, working closely with Hendrik Uiterwyk, and was involved in several high-profile civil cases. He later focused on medical malpractice before returning to the firm in 2025. He earned his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Hofstra University and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law. He has been selected for Florida Super Lawyers - Rising Stars and is a Lifetime Member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He is a member of the Florida Justice Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association.

Erik Abrahamson

With over 35 Years of experience in personal injury law, Mr. Abrahamson embraces the practice of working with clients on a contingency basis. A native of the Midwest, he graduated from Luther College in 1984 and Stetson University College of Law in 1987. He was actively involved in Stetson’s Moot Court Team, winning first place in the National Moot Court Competition. He is admitted to practice in Florida and Colorado state courts, and various federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of several bar associations and justice associations. He manages the firm's Clearwater office and maintains an active lifestyle.

Spencer Pastorin

After serving in the United States Air Force, and obtaining his bachelor’s degree at the University of Nebraska of Omaha, Mr. Pastorin then attended Nova University, where he obtained his law degree. Prior to joining Howell & Thornhill as a civil trial attorney, Mr. Pastorin worked as an Appeals Referee Supervisor with the Florida Department of Labor, and then became employed as an Assistant Public Defender in Polk County. As a criminal defense attorney, Mr. Pastorin has tried over 60 criminal jury trials. As a Civil Trial Attorney at Howell & Thornhill, Mr. Pastorin has tried jury trial cases against insurance companies and businesses for violations of State and Federal laws. Spencer volunteers with different organizations and groups. He is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell, the highest professionalism and ethical rating from the nationally recognized service for rating lawyers. Spencer is admitted to practice in all Florida State courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Hendrik Uiterwyk

Hendrik “Henk” Uiterwyk, a founding partner of Abrahamson & Uiterwyk, passed away on December 10, 2020. He was a respected trial and injury lawyer who successfully tried over a hundred jury trials during his nearly forty-year career. He attended Tulane University, earning a B.A. in 1968 and a J.D. in 1970. He was an active and generous member of the Florida Justice Association since 1985, serving on its Board of Directors. In 2017, he received the prestigious “Jon E. Krupnick Award” for his relentless commitment to justice.
