She graduated from Boston College in 1988 and Suffolk University Law School in 1991. Her legal career began with experience at a personal injury firm during law school, followed by a clerkship for the Rhode Island Supreme Court, and a period at an insurance defense firm before joining d’Oliveira & Associates in 1995. Paul d’Oliveira trained her in meticulous case review and preparation. She enjoys helping clients navigate legal challenges, from securing Social Security Disability benefits to achieving favorable auto accident settlements. A significant challenge in her career was obtaining Social Security Disability benefits for younger individuals.

Laura Cameron

Attorney Laura Cameron has been practicing law for d’Oliveira & Associates for over 26 years, specializing in personal injury and social security disability claims. She oversees offices in Coventry, Cranston, Johnston, Middletown, Portsmouth, Providence, South Kingstown, and Warwick. She earned her law degree from Western New England School of Law in 1996 and a bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut in 1993. Her experience includes an internship with the CT Public Defender’s Office and handling criminal defense cases. She was trained by Paul d’Oliveira in reviewing medical records and advocating for clients. Her daily work involves client meetings, communication with various parties, and preparing for legal proceedings. Heather Spellman

Attorney Heather Spellman brings over 20 years of litigation experience to d’Oliveira & Associates, having previously defended personal injury claims for insurance companies. She has been with the firm for over two years, focusing exclusively on personal injury law, and serves clients in East Providence, Fall River, New Bedford, and Pawtucket.
