Shon T. Lieske

Shon Lieske joined the Lieske Law Firm in 2005 after receiving his Juris Doctorate in the Spring of 2005 from the University of Nebraska College of Law in Lincoln, Nebraska. While at the UNL College of Law, Shon participated in such activities as the Student Bar Association, Law School Republicans, Phi Alpha Delta, and the UNL College of Law free legal clinic and received such honors as the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Advanced Legal Research. In the Central Nebraska area, Shon has been involved in the Mock Trial Competition as both a Judge and Team Coach, serves as President of PAC2 - a non-profit child-care center - and as an Alumni Advisor to the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity in the campus of his alma mater, the University of Nebraska-Kearney. In addition to litigation, Shon also practices in the areas of probate, estate planning, business formation, and advising new and growing businesses. Thomas G. Lieske

An Upland and Minden native, Tom attended and obtained his undergraduate degree from Kearney State College prior to attending law school at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Tom was licensed to practice in Nebraska since 1978 and was licensed in both State and Federal Courts. Tom served as Kearney County Prosecutor from 1978-1981 and Deputy County Attorney from 1983-1989. He has been the Kearney County Public Defender since 2006 and Minden City Attorney since 1991. Tom has previously served on the Commission for the Unauthorized Practice of Law and the Tenth Judicial District Nominating Commission. Throughout his career, Tom has attended numerous training courses, seminars, and trial schools and is able to handle almost any legal matter you may have. Tom has also served as School Attorney for Minden Public Schools, Village Attorney for Kenesaw and Heartwell, and Attorney for the Minden Country Club. After a long and fulfilling career, Tom decided to retire from the practice of law in December of 2024. Tom still humors the attorneys and staff of Lieske, Lieske & Ensz, P.C., L.L.O. by offering his wisdom and war stories from over 45 years of practice, as he has always said that he has forgotten more about the law than we will ever learn.
