David J. Morrissey

For over 40 years, founding attorney David J. Morrissey has been a board-certified specialist in workers’ compensation law. Attorney Andrew J. Morrissey is a Partner at Morrissey, Morrissey & Rydzik, LLC, and a 1988 graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law. He served as a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps before returning to Connecticut in 1992. He has been a board-certified specialist in workers’ compensation since 2001 and represents injured workers at various levels, including the Compensation Review Board and the Connecticut Appellate and Supreme Courts. He also handles personal injury and public sector employment law.

Jill Morrissey Rydzik

Jill Morrissey Rydzik is a partner at Morrissey, Morrissey & Rydzik, specializing in workers’ compensation, personal injury, and social security disability appeals. She graduated magna cum laude from Quinnipiac School of Law, with a specialization in Tax Law, and has successfully represented clients at both trial and appellate levels, including the Connecticut Supreme Court, achieving favorable results in multiple seven-figure cases.

Cesar L. Sousa

Attorney Sousa has been practicing law with FM&S since 2004. He graduated from The University of Connecticut with a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Education. Attorney Sousa then continued his studies attending law school at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI. Angelo P. Sevarino

Attorney Angelo P. Sevarino has over 30 years of experience providing counsel on workers’ compensation, liability Medicare Set-asides, Social Security offset, and settlement preparation. He is a board-certified workers’ compensation specialist by the Connecticut Bar Association and nationally credentialed as a Medicare Set-Aside Consultant (MSCC). He is also a Fellow of The College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers and has authored two texts and numerous articles on workers' compensation.

Danielle Perugini

Danielle Perugini is new to the FMSS family and a native to the Waterbury area. Attorney Perugini graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2009 with a B.A. in Human Development & Family Studies. She earned her law degree from Western New England School of Law in 2014, and was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 2015. Danielle focuses her practice on family law and personal injury and is experienced in handling real estate matters, discrimination, workers’ compensation and general civil litigation.
