Abe R. Paul

Abe was born in Southwest City, MO. He graduated salutatorian from Noel High School (1966). Abe attended the University of Missouri for undergraduate study, where he earned his degree in history (1970). He continued his education at Mizzou, graduating from the School of Law (1974). Abe has over 40 years of experience as an attorney in McDonald, Newton, Barry, Jasper, and Lawrence counties. He has served as lead counsel in dozens of jury trials and hundreds of bench (judge-decided) trials. Abe served as McDonald County Prosecuting Attorney from 1976 to 1980. He focuses his practice on civil litigation, including personal injury, commercial litigation, and real estate disputes. Abe is one of the most accomplished trial attorneys in Southwest Missouri. Among other accolades, he has been awarded the prestigious Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating. Abe lives in Neosho with his wife, Nancy. He has been active in the local community throughout his life. Abe and Nancy are members of the Neosho United Methodist Church. Abe has two children, Jordan and Austin, and two step-children, Brad and Lindsay. Jordan is an attorney with the Paul Law Firm. Austin is a commercial real estate agent in Kansas City. Brad is a financial advisor with Edward Jones in Carl Junction. Lindsay is a flight attendant with Southwest Airlines in Denver. Abe is a huge fan of the Missouri Tigers. He also enjoy watching the St. Louis Cardinals, gardening, and fishing.

Jim served as Pineville municipal court judge for over 30 years. He served as Anderson municipal court judge for 20 years. Jim focuses his practice on family law, estate planning, and probate. Jim lives in Neosho with his wife, Shelley. Shelley teaches at Anderson Elementary School. Jim and Shelley are members of the United Methodist Church in Anderson. They have one daughter, Emily, who graduated from McDonald County High School in 2011 and the University of Missouri in 2015. Jim’s favorite sports teams are the Missouri Tigers and the St. Louis Cardinals. He also enjoys history.

Jordan L. Paul

Jordan was born in Noel, MO. He graduated from Neosho High School (2005). Jordan attended the University of Missouri for undergraduate study (2010), where he earned his degrees in history and political science summa cum laude (cumulative GPA of 3.9-4.0). He was elected student body president of the University of Missouri in his senior year. Jordan also spent two summers serving as an intern on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. He continued his education at Mizzou, graduating from the School of Law (2013), where he earned Dean’s List honors for four consecutive semesters. Jordan practices as an attorney in Newton, McDonald, and Jasper counties. He focuses his practice on civil litigation. Jordan devotes roughly half of his practice to representing the City of Joplin in civil matters. He advises the Joplin City Council and Joplin Redevelopment Corporation, as well as boards and commissions such as the Building Board of Appeals. Jordan is responsible for in-house litigation in federal and state court, including specialized actions such as §1983 claims, condemnation proceedings, and judicial reviews pursuant to Chapter 536, RSMo. He has negotiated, drafted, and reviewed agreements with sophisticated parties such as national corporations and government at the federal, state, and local levels. Jordan is active in several civic groups and community organizations, including the Neosho Rotary Club, Talkington Foundation and Tri-State Family YMCA. He is a member of the Neosho United Methodist Church. Jordan is a fan of the Missouri Tigers.
