Peter S. Kirner

Peter S. Kirner has been practicing since 2006 and joined Kirner & Boldt Co., L.P.A. in 2006, becoming a full partner. He focuses on domestic relations, criminal misdemeanors, traffic, OVI, evictions, collections, personal injury, and dog bites. He has served as a trustee and president of the Parma Bar Association, and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. He also served as a magistrate in Parma City School Truancy Court and chairs the CMBA Fee Dispute Resolution Committee.

Rachel Sabo Friedmann

Rachel Sabo Friedmann is a founding partner of The Friedmann Firm LLC, a plaintiff’s employment litigation law firm. She graduated from Capital University Law School in 2012. She was a two-year member of the Mock Trial team, a member of the Philip J. Fulton Fall National Moot Court Team, and participated in several other organizations. Rachel was awarded the Philip J. Fulton Best Oralist award for her outstanding oral advocacy. She also studied abroad at The Asser Institute in The Hague, Netherlands, studying international criminal and humanitarian law. From Cleveland, Ohio, she attended Cleveland State University for her undergraduate studies and received a degree in Journalism and Promotional Communication. Rachel is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio, The United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States. She is a member of the Columbus Bar Association, Ohio Employment Lawyers Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Central Ohio Association for Justice (COAJ), Women Lawyers of Franklin County and Ohio Association for Justice (OAJ). Rachel has been awarded the Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2015-2023, and The Friedmann Firm was named one of the best law firms in Columbus by Columbus CEO Magazine. In 2020, Rachel received the Louisville Slugger Award from COAJ for her work on the Oakley v. OSUWMC case, a wage and hour case that settled for $4,000,000.00. In 2023, Rachel received the “Graduate of the Last Decade” award from Capital University Law School. She served on the Board of the Women Lawyers of Franklin County from 2013-2021 and was President in 2019-2020. Rachel was an Ohio State Bar Foundation Fellow in 2019 and participated in the Ohio State Bar Association leadership academy in 2017. She is a sustaining member of The Junior League of Columbus and actively volunteers with Rescued Ohio.

Peter Friedmann

Peter Friedmann is an Ohio employment litigation attorney, representing clients in state and federal court. He is licensed to practice in all Ohio state courts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. As a founding member of The Friedmann Firm, LLC, Pete devotes his practice almost exclusively to labor and employment law, representing plaintiff clients across Ohio in cases involving discrimination, harassment, FMLA issues, unpaid wages, overtime and commission disputes, employee misclassification, severance negotiation, wrongful termination, unlawful retaliation, and whistleblower claims. He has achieved notable success through trial verdicts and settlements. Pete holds a Top 3 rating as an employment lawyer in Columbus from Three Best Rated, and has earned consistent recognition from Best Lawyers. He has been selected by his peers as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” for employment litigation from 2016-2022. He also received Superb client ratings on AVVO and the Top Contributor award. David R. Boldt

David Boldt co-founded Kirner and Boldt in 1989 and has been the managing partner ever since. He earned his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1986. He is an active member of the Parma Bar Association (serving as Director and Secretary), Ohio State Bar Association, and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. His practice areas include Estate Planning, Business and Real Estate Law, Probate of Estates and Guardianships, and Trust Administration. He has received the Martindale-Hubbell peer review AV Preeminent Rating and the Parma Bar Association’s Don Reiman Professionalism Award.

Delaney Barr-Brown

Delaney Barr-Brown is a managing attorney at The Friedmann Firm, LLC. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and earned her Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School, where she graduated with honors. Before law school, Delaney received her Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies, with a focus on Spanish and Europe, from Butler University. During her time at GW, Delaney was on the International Law Review journal, a student attorney in the Landlord-Tenant clinic, and a member of the law school’s theater group “Law Revue.” She interned with the Family and Mental Health Judge at the D.C. Superior Court and clerked for two judges in the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands. Prior to joining The Friedmann Firm, LLC, Delaney advocated for marginalized communities at Equality Ohio and the Ohio Justice Bus. She is licensed to practice law in The United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio. Delaney is a member of the Columbus Bar Association, Ohio Employment Lawyers Association, and the Ohio State Bar Association. In 2025, she spearheaded a sexual harassment case resulting in a $500,000 settlement. Delaney advocates for clients in employment disputes ranging from breach of contract to discrimination claims, approaching cases with urgency, compassion, and a trauma-responsive approach.

Truman Haycock

Truman Haycock is an Associate Attorney at The Friedmann Firm LLC, joining in 2024. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and earned his Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School, where he graduated with honors. A Columbus, Ohio native, Truman was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Employment Law and the Floyd D. Weatherspoon Award for Employment Discrimination & Labor Law during his time at Capital Law School. He also served as President of the Capital Law ACLU Chapter. Before law school, he received his bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and worked abroad in Nayarit, Mexico. He speaks English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.

Matthew Boldt

Matthew Boldt, son of founding partner David Boldt, joined Kirner & Boldt Co., L.P.A. after obtaining his license to practice law in Ohio in 2023. He earned his J.D. Cum Laude from Western Michigan University’s Thomas M. Cooley Law School. His practice focuses on estate and trust planning, estate and trust administration, business law, and civil litigation. He is admitted to practice in Ohio, South Carolina, and the U.S. District Court Northern District of Ohio. He is an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Parma Bar Association.
