James D. Rush

James D. Rush is a Marin County native and the founder of Rush Injury Law in 2005. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Riverside and his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law. He has been representing people in personal injury cases since 2005 and has tried cases to jury verdict in numerous California counties. He has represented injured people against large companies and cities.

David L. Winnett

I became a lawyer to help people. I was raised in Southern Illinois by parents who taught me about justice and equality, and I knew that becoming a lawyer would be the best way for me to serve those ideals. I also grew up singing and acting and realized that my stage experience would serve me well in the courtroom. I began my career as a prosecutor, seeking justice for crime victims and honing my skills as a trial lawyer. I loved that job. I was good at that job. I helped a lot of people in that job. But I knew I wasn’t yet living my best life. Northern California was calling me to a greater purpose and a fuller, richer life for my family. My wife and I decided to move to California to chase our dreams. I strategically joined a prominent national law firm with offices in Illinois and San Francisco, took and passed the California Bar Exam while working full-time, and persuaded my bosses to allow me to transfer to the San Francisco office. To learn what I needed to learn, I worked for insurance companies defending the types of cases I now prosecute on behalf of injured people and their families. Having watched how insurance companies evaluate cases, I now know what it takes to obtain the best possible results for my clients. In 2014, I accepted a position with a premier personal injury firm and furthered my training, obtaining justice on behalf of people who had been injured by the acts of others. I tried cases. I won cases. I won awards for trying cases. But I wanted more. I wanted to be part of my own firm, partnering with other warriors committed to fighting for justice in our community. That’s who we are. That’s what we do. And I couldn’t be more proud to be part of this firm doing this work.

Josh S. Brownstein

Josh has been a trial lawyer his entire career. After gaining years of experience at two of the country’s top law firms, Josh left to pursue his own practice with the goal of representing individuals that truly need aggressive, intelligent, and good legal representation. Josh is at home in the courtroom, yet takes particular care in ensuring that his client’s interests are meticulously and aggressively addressed at every phase. Josh takes his work and your case personally.

Michael E. Hale

Michael E. Hale is a third generation San Francisco attorney and third generation alumni of the University of San Francisco School of Law. He also graduated with Honors from the University of California in Santa Barbara in 2001. While attending USF Law School, Mr. Hale received the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Real Estate (Sales) Transactions, was a Staff Member of the Intellectual Property Law Bulletin, General Member of the Business Law Association and a participant in the USF Intensive Advocacy Program. Mr. Hale was admitted to the California State Bar in 2006 and is licensed to practice in all California State Courts as well as the United States District Court of Northern California. Mr. Hale has practiced as a plaintiff’s personal injury lawyer his entire career and has also worked with commercial tenants assisting with lease negotiations. In 2013 and 2014, Mr. Hale was honored with the designation of California Super Lawyer Rising Star. He also published an article in 2012 for Plaintiff magazine entitled, Sexual Torts and Vicarious Liability: Expanding Mary M. into the Private Sector.

Andrew Davies

Andrew Davies is the principal and founding attorney at A. Davies Personal Injury Law, specializing in personal injury cases including injury accidents, medical malpractice, and elder abuse. A Bay Area native, he graduated cum laude from Santa Clara University in 2002 with a degree in political science and a minor in French. He earned degrees in Common Law and Civil Law from Loyola University College of Law, New Orleans, where he was a Moot Court staff member and award-winning oralist and brief writer. Licensed in 2008, Mr. Davies has dedicated over 15 years to advocating for injured individuals. Before opening his firm in 2023, he worked with a boutique personal injury firm for nearly 15 years. He is also an adjunct professor of law, teaching Moot Court and Legal Writing, and was honored as San Francisco Law School Professor of the Year in 2010 and 2015. His background as a championship cyclist provides unique insight into bicycle accident cases.

Michael R. Solomon

I became a personal injury lawyer because I enjoy helping injured people receive appropriate compensation from those that caused their injuries. In addition, I strive to support my clients with an honest and straightforward approach to solving any problems so they can feel empowered and knowledgeable about their cases. I enjoy working at LMS Law because we collaborate to provide the best possible outcome for our clients. There is also a strong camaraderie and enjoyable work environment that allows me to operate at my fullest level for clients. Frank C. Liuzzi

After graduating from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1991, I worked in a large defense firm before shifting to plaintiff’s work. In 2003, I founded Liuzzi, Murphy, Solomon, LLP with two other USF alumni. Together, we were driven to establish a firm that draws on our collective expertise in law with the values and standards we expect in a top personal injury law firm.
