Roger Dodd

Patricia Kuendig

Founding Attorney Patricia Kuendig pursued law out of a desire to help people when they needed it most. She initially worked on complex divorce and family law matters in Miami, FL, gaining comfort and confidence in the courtroom. After her mother's tragic death in a bus accident in 2016, Patricia expanded her practice to include personal injury and wrongful death, driven by a renewed passion for helping accident victims. She is a recognized leader, faculty member of the National Family Law Institute, and has given lectures for various legal organizations. Patricia is licensed in Utah, Georgia, and Florida, and admitted to several U.S. District Courts.

Kevin J. Simon is a partner with over twenty years of legal practice. He graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with a B.A. in History in 1994 and received his J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law in 1997 with honors. His extensive experience covers a wide range of substantive law areas, including antitrust, labor, environmental, and civil rights actions. He routinely serves as lead defense counsel in high-profile, multimillion-dollar litigation, including catastrophic personal injury, real estate development, and complex business disputes, both at trial and on appeal. Mr. Simon has successfully defended cases to jury verdict, obtained summary judgments, and secured Rule 12(b)(6) and 12(b)(1)/(2) dismissals. He is also involved in insurance defense litigation, representing commercial general contractors, architects, and engineers, and has played a primary role in defending serious injury cases for Utah's ski resort industry. Adam Strachan is an owner and managing partner whose practice focuses on trial and appellate work. He has defended numerous ski resorts in Utah and other clients in a variety of cases, trying many before judges and juries, and arguing before the Utah Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. Notable results include a defense verdict in a wrongful death case and a $2 million recovery in a contract dispute. He earned his B.A. from the University of Southern California in 1998 and his J.D. from the University of Utah in 2002, where he was Executive Editor of the Journal of Land, Resources, and Environmental Law. His professional background includes associate positions at Duane Morris, LLP, and judicial clerkships with Hon. Lawrence J. Block and Judges Lee A. Dever and Roger Livingston. He is a former Chairman of the Park City Planning Commission and former President of the Association of Ski Defense Attorneys, and a member of the Utah and California Bar Associations.

Cliff Parkinson

Cliff Parkinson is litigator with experience in commercial litigation, intellectual property, and energy law. He also spent five years in-house as associate general counsel for an R-1, land-grant university where he handled a broad range of Higher Education issues including student and faculty affairs, administrative litigation, and constitutional issues. Cliff began his career as a law clerk to the Honorable Dee V. Benson of the District Court for the District of Utah and then to the Honorable Monroe G. McKay of the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Cliff holds a law degree from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark School of Law, a Master of Arts in Classics from Florida State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from Brigham Young University.

Cory A. Caldwell

Originally from Colorado, Cory completed her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Utah State University before moving on to the University of Utah for law school. She enjoys using her education and experience to help others in the Tooele community. Cory has practiced in numerous areas, including real estate, construction defect, constitutional law, family law, and more. Recently, Cory has enjoyed narrowing her practice areas to estate planning, personal injury, and public defense. Over the past few years, Cory has become even more passionate about protecting the rights of disadvantaged members of her community and has focused her criminal practice on public defense. Cory genuinely enjoys her work as the Tooele County Managing Defender and her role in elevating defense resources for all persons charged with a crime.
