Adam C. Herman

Adam concentrates his practice in the areas of construction defect litigation, professional liability and property and casualty claims. He has frequently served as defense counsel for contractors, subcontractors and professionals. Likewise Adam has represented numerous individuals and associations against construction trades. Adam also defends class action lawsuits in areas of employment and has experience defending individuals and entities in claims involving State and Federal Consumer Credit Practices Acts and its counterpart, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, including a number of published Decisions in Federal courts. He has represented numerous corporations in commercial litigation matters, breach of contract, breach of the good faith and fair dealing, as well as violation of Florida’s Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act. Adam has also successfully tried many cases to verdict and has also argued before State and Federal Appellate Courts. In 1991, Adam graduated from the University of Miami where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. In 1998, he earned his juris doctor at Nova Southeastern University School of law, where he graduated cum laude. During his studies, Adam received academic awards in constitutional law, admiralty and corporations. He was selected by the Phi Delta Phi National Honor Fraternity based on his academic achievements. Adam is admitted to the Florida Bar and is a member of the Trial Lawyers Section, and is also a member of the American Bar Association. He is admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Middle District of Florida, Northern District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.

Jennifer L. Peattie is an accomplished Senior Attorney at The Orlando Law Group, specializing in Civil Litigation, Personal Injury , HOA and Condominium Law at the Altamonte Springs office. With an impressive academic background, Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the esteemed University of Central Florida (UCF) before obtaining her Juris Doctorate degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), School of Law in Orlando, Florida. Before embarking on her legal career, Jennifer gained invaluable experience working with various firms that focused on diverse areas of law, including real estate, title, foreclosure, construction defects, rules enforcement, bankruptcy, and probate. Jaya Balani

Jaya Balani was the very first and only female criminal defense partner with NeJame Law. Born and raised in Orlando, she went to Bishop Moore, UCF and graduated with her law degree from Florida A & M University right here in Orlando. During her last two years in law school she interned under the NeJame Law criminal defense team and their assistants. Jaya learned what happens inside the law firm for clients, as well as, in the courtroom. After graduating law school in 2008, Jaya hit the ground running by working on several, very high profile cases with her Senior Partner, Mark NeJame, such as the Casey Anthony case. Krista Garcia, born and raised in South Florida, discovered her passion for law during her time at the University of Central Florida, where she earned dual B.A. degrees in Political Science and Sociology. A Constitutional Law course sparked her interest in legal argumentation, leading her to pursue a career in law. Krista went on to graduate cum laude with her J.D. from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law in May 2024 and was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 2024. While in law school, she was actively involved in leadership roles, serving on the executive boards of the Hispanic American Law Student Association and the FAMU chapter of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. Before attending law school, Krista gained valuable experience in the real estate industry, working as a leasing consultant and transitioning into property management. She also has a year of specialized experience in immigration law, with a focus on employment-based visas. Krista is now dedicated to using her diverse experience and background to provide exceptional legal service.
