Bryan Antol is a Flagstaff-based attorney focusing on criminal defense and personal injury. He graduated magna cum laude in Accountancy from Northern Arizona University in 1993 and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona in 1998. In 1998, he was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Arizona. In 2001, Bryan was admitted to practice of law in the U.S. District Court of Arizona. He is also admitted to practice on the Hopi Reservation. Bryan began his legal career in 1999 as a Deputy Coconino County Attorney, where he prosecuted both felony and misdemeanor cases. He also worked in the county’s Civil Division as an attorney. He entered private practice in 2010 and has since focused on criminal defense and personal injury. Bryan has served on the Executive Board for CASA and currently works as an Alternate Public Defender for Coconino County. Alongside Terry Hance, he also serves as the Public Defender for the Hopi Tribe.

James E. Ledbetter

Forrest G. Buffington

Forrest G. Buffington is a 1978 graduate of Baylor Law School, and has been engaged in the practice of law since 1979. He is admitted to practice in the courts of Arizona, the Navajo Nation, New Mexico, Hopi, Zuni, Colorado, and Utah. He is the former elected district attorney for McKinley County, New Mexico, and has been continually engaged in personal injury litigation on behalf of plaintiffs since 1999. Mr. Buffington is a member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association. He is a long-time resident of the Four Corners area.

Kathryn G. Mahady

Flagstaff, AZ

Attorney Kathryn Mahady has a broad legal practice, concentrating her efforts on civil litigation, probate, real estate litigation, bankruptcy, criminal defense, and immigration law. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Ms. Mahady relocated to Arizona in the late 1990s. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 2000 with a B.A. in English and earned a Master of Arts in Teaching and Teacher Education from the University of Arizona in 2005. She taught seventh grade Social Studies in Tucson for seven years, during which time she was the recipient of two Fulbright awards to South Africa and Turkey. While at the University of Arizona earning her law degree, Ms. Mahady clerked for ASPEY, WATKINS & DIESEL, as well as for the Office of the Federal Public Defender in Tucson, and served as President of the Law Women’s Association. Ms. Mahady joined ASPEY, WATKINS & DIESEL in 2011. In 2018, the U.S. District Court appointed Ms. Mahady to a three-year term as a Lawyer Representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference to serve as a liaison to the federal courts. In 2019, the State Bar of Arizona appointed Ms. Mahady to the Bar’s Civil Practice and Procedure Committee. Ms. Mahady continues to serve on this Committee.
