He has recovered over $300 million in verdicts and settlements for his clients, including the highest medical malpractice jury verdict in Maine history ($25 million) and one of the highest overall jury verdicts in Vermont history ($22.5 million). He has achieved success in a wide range of cases including trucking, personal injury, medical malpractice, utility, product liability, and civil rights. Ben is recognized by his peers, having been listed in Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers every year since 2013, and three times named 'Lawyer of the Year' for Maine. Patrick T. Jones

Partner Patrick T. Jones has been a trial lawyer since 1978 and works on substantial personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Prior to opening the law firm of Jones Kelleher, Patrick was a founding partner of Cooley Manion Jones, where he managed the contingent fee practice for over twenty-five years. He served on the Board of Directors at Catholic Memorial School of West Roxbury, Massachusetts from 1997-2005, was Chairman of the school’s Board of Directors from 1998-2000 and Vice-Chairman from 2001-2004. He served on the Board of Trustees of St. Sebastian’s School, Needham, Massachusetts, from 2003-2012. He has served on the Board of Directors at Citizens Energy Corporation, Boston, Massachusetts since 2000. Patrick has served on the Board of Directors of the Pine Street Inn of Boston since 2010 and just completed a four year term as Board Chair. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island. Patrick was born in Ithaca, New York on May 10, 1951. He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and was educated at St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, graduating in 1969. He attended the National University of Ireland (University College, Dublin) in 1971-1972, and graduated magna cum laude from The College of the Holy Cross in 1973. Patrick attended Boston College Law School, graduating cum laude in 1978. At Boston College he was a member and Editor of its Law Review. Patrick lives in Duxbury, Massachusetts with his wife Nell.

Paul W. Chant
