Nicholas Platt

My name is Nicholas Platt, managing partner at Platt Law Firm PC. Here, I am dedicated to protecting your rights when you have been injured at work or off the job. I have helped hundreds of clients from all walks of life and all backgrounds successfully resolve their workers’ compensation and personal injury claims. I have a bilingual legal assistant who speaks Spanish, and I am willing to help find interpreters for clients who speak other languages. I’m originally from Ida Grove, Iowa, and received my undergraduate degree from Northern Iowa and law degree from Drake University. Prior to becoming a lawyer, I worked as a high school business teacher and coach in Virginia, Wisconsin and in the Chicagoland area. As a lifelong Iowan, I understand the values and challenges that define our great state. Born and raised in Ida Grove, I carry Iowa values in everything I do - honesty, hard work and genuine care for my neighbors. My commitment to Iowa workers extends far beyond my Des Moines office. Peter W. Berger

Peter Berger is a dedicated West Des Moines trial lawyer with over 46 years of experience as a prosecutor and defense attorney in criminal and personal injury cases. He has tried more than 200 state and federal cases that have gone to a jury for deliberation and has achieved significant settlements and verdicts, including a multi-million dollar jury verdict in a car train-cable collision.

Douglass S. Marberry

Douglass S. Marberry has practiced law for over thirty years and is a strong advocate of alternative dispute resolution (ADR). He graduated from the University of Iowa in 1976 and Drake University Law School in 1988. He was involved in the Polk County Pilot Mediation Program in 1996 and trained in collaborative law in 2004. He is a founding member of the Jack D. Levine Family Law American Inns of Court.

Mark D. Reed

Mark D. Reed has worked with Marberry Law Firm, P.C. since 2009. He practices in debt matters, small business, family and juvenile, criminal, and general will, small estate planning and probate. He is a certified family law mediator and has experience in state and federal appeals. He is licensed in Iowa and Colorado and has lectured on juvenile and debtor/creditor law.

Linda Pirkle

Linda is a Texas native, but has spent most of her life in Iowa. She has worked in the legal field for over 35 years in personal injury and workers’ compensation. Linda loves interacting with clients and summarizing complex medical cases to assist in creating the best outcome for clients after a workplace injury. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and she adores her grandchildren. Linda enjoys a good hike with her dog Ivy, art in all forms, and traveling around Iowa, places with big mountains views, or long beach walks with her better half, Scott.

Taylor Reichardt

Taylor Reichardt is an attorney with five years of diverse legal experience in criminal law, employment discrimination, and personal injury. He graduated with honors from Drake University Law School in 2019, where he was article editor for the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law. He holds a degree in Political Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of Kearney - Nebraska.
