James A. Hamilton III

James A. Hamilton III, Esq., graduated from Temple Law School in 1978. Mr. Hamilton is responsible for managing most of the firm’s litigation, as well as trying the major jury trials, including medical malpractice, infant death, and catastrophic injury cases.

Laura M. Rizio

Laura M. Rizio, Esq. graduated from Penn State University and the Dickinson School of Law. She received her J.D. degree in 1968. She is known for her sensitivity to client needs and her ability to communicate with clients, insurance adjusters and attorneys to bring about fair settlements in a reasonable time frame.

Michael P. Kane

Michael P. Kane, Esq. is a partner at Rizio, Hamilton & Kane, P.C. He is the firm’s lead negotiator and litigator. Since joining the firm in 2006, Mr. Kane has successfully settled and tried numerous cases for significant amounts. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from West Chester University and dual Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degrees from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. His expertise in corporate investments, business valuations, and accounting is crucial for complex family matters, especially high net worth divorces. He is known for his interpersonal skills, hands-on approach to litigation, and ability to offer creative solutions in contentious situations, particularly in child custody and equitable distribution.

Amir Stark

Amir Stark is a seasoned trial attorney with nearly two decades of experience, licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His background in complex litigation provides a unique skill set for family law, including high-conflict custody trials and protection from abuse cases. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from the University of Utah and a Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law. Amir is recognized for his intelligent advocacy, detailed preparation, and compassionate approach, connecting with clients during crises. He has authored appellate briefs, argued before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, and litigated Children & Youth expunction appeals. He is a recipient of the Arthur B. Walsh Pro Bono Publico Award and is active in leadership roles at the Bucks County Bar Association, Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania, and A Woman’s Place.

Alexandra Kane

Alexandra Kane, Esq. is a partner at Rizio, Hamilton & Kane, P.C. She is the firm’s marketing coordinator and manager of the firm’s day-to-day affairs. In conjunction with her partners, she makes decisions about the viability of each case, how to strategize each case and plays a vital role in each case’s pre-litigation stage.
