Aaron’s victories have also established oft-cited persuasive authority governing substantive consolidation, alter-ego liability, contractual arbitrability and dismissal as a discovery sanction. Before practicing law, Aaron worked in the music industry as an Artist Development Representative for Def Jam, Universal Music Group and several other major record labels. During law school, Aaron served as a Summer Research Fellow with the American Antitrust Institute where he authored a white paper examining the competitive effects of the Ticketmaster/Live Nation merger within the live events industry. Aaron’s work has been recognized by the DOJ Antitrust Division, New York Times and by several Senators as a harbinger of the ramifications of the merger to the ticketing industry at large and the collateral impact it has had on consumers.
