About Abby
As an Intake Specialist at Dormer Harpring, Abby brings a wealth of empathy and problem-solving skills to every call she handles. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in December of 2023 with a BA in Political Science, a minor in Global Peace, and certificates in both Diplomacy and Intelligence & National Security. In a few years, she is eager to attend law school after gaining an understanding of the field and where she would like to fit into it. Abby has always been driven to help people in any way she knows how, and learns quickly when she does not. Her initial career interests were in healthcare, having earned her Certified Nursing Assistant and Phlebotomy licenses as a dual-enrollment student in high school in anticipation of being a nurse. While working as a home health aide with the local hospice house, the world slipped into a global pandemic. She quickly realized that her skills could be utilized in a different profession, and switched her focus and degree path to law. While obtaining her degree, she worked as a server and bartender in Orlando at high-end restaurants, sharpening her hospitality skills and daily applying her love for people.
