Abigail guides individuals and their families through the often complex process of securing their legacy. Every step of the way, from establishing trusts to crafting and administering wills, she is committed to ensuring that her clients’ assets are safeguarded and their intentions fulfilled. Abigail helps clients - many of whom are high-net-worth individuals-create and administer complex estate plans, including grantor retained annuity trusts, sales to grantor trusts, and qualified personal residence trusts. She also advises on charitable planning, including charitable trusts and private foundations. With a deep understanding of the tax implications for trusts and estates, Abigail works closely with her clients on gift tax, estate tax, and income tax(federal, New York, and New Jersey) matters, and on inheritance tax planning. When necessary, Abigail interacts with federal and state tax authorities on audits of estate and gift tax returns.
