About Adam

As a self-described “information sponge,” I love nothing more than to absorb information from the world around me, and then find useful ways to apply it to the needs of our clients. I take the lead on preparing our clients for their depositions and mediations, and also focus on keeping them in the loop every step of the way. As the writing “brains” behind the operation, I’m best suited to working behind the scenes to put together well-written documents, and would prefer to let Mark Melrose (my law partner and father) to be the face of the firm. I focus my attention primarily on serious personal injury cases, with a particular interest in unusual instances of negligence (such as gas explosions, drowning, and negligently handled firearms). I also handle real estate litigation, including right-of-way disputes and partition actions, as I am a also real estate investor myself. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games with my closest friends, reading fantasy and business books, and maintaining my 150-gallon saltwater reef tank.
