About Adrejia
Adrejia Lajoy Ann Boutté is a Senior Attorney and the Chief Operating Officer in the Baton Rouge office of Doran & Cawthorne, PLLC. As a native of Olivier and New Iberia, LA, she grew up in a Louisiana Creole French and English-speaking household. Adrejia handles personal injury, insurance defense, creditors’ rights, and compliance related matters. She is a former in-house counsel for the State of Louisiana; a commercial defense litigator; an adjunct instructor for paralegal studies at Herzing University; and an Academic Counselor for Southern University Law Center. As a licensed Title Insurance Producer, Adrejia has performed limited real estate closings work and plaintiff work for a title insurance company. With a certification in Basic Mediation and Conflict Resolution, she also has experience as a co-arbitrator on issues of creditor/debtor and landlord/tenant disputes and experience as a business consultant for the homeless and small businesses.
