Alan J. Goldstein was a criminal defense lawyer in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties, known for his flamboyant and witty courtroom demeanor and sharp legal mind. He specialized in DWI cases and was a partner with Leonard Stamm. He was an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center and conducted seminars on criminal defense and DWI cases. He received the James R. White Memorial Award in 1989. He died on August 1, 1991.
