Alfonso “Alfie” Leon was born, nurtured, and educated in the vibrant city of Miami. His intellectual pursuit led him to Florida International University, where he earned a B.A. in Sociology & Anthropology before attending law school at the same institution. Throughout his law school years, his commitment to the Board of Advocates and the Health Law & Policy Clinic led to him being granted the Public Service Award.
