Born and bred in Miami, Alfonso “Alfie” Leon pursued his higher education at Florida International University, gaining a B.A. in Sociology & Anthropology and a degree in Law. Throughout his time at law school, he was an active member of the Board of Advocates and the Health Law & Policy Clinic, even receiving a Public Service Award upon graduation.
